Buddhism is not a true religion according to new academic principles.  True religion must have a God.
And Buddhism is not a philosophy.  Philosophy must have an owner.  Like the philosophy of Plato, Fuso, and Concius.  This is a philosophy.
Buddhism has no owner.  Buddha does not own Buddhism. The whole world does.  Buddhism belongs to all of us.  Lord Buddha discovered the real things that exist in people.  existing in the world  and then teach it to another person.  Therefore, Buddhism is in the middle.  Both philosophy and religion....
